Inspired by Stuart’s post over at the ramblings, I decided to give this a go.
01. One book that changed your life
Living with Joy: Keys to Personal Power and Spiritual Transformation by Sanaya Roman
02. One book that you’ve read more than once (I can’t pick just one…)
Love and Awakening: Discovering the Sacred Path of Intimate Relationship by John Welwood
The Kryon Series by Lee Carroll
The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
03. One book you’d want on a desert island
Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda
04. Two books that made you laugh
Wicca’s Charm by Catherine Edwards Sanders
I can’t think of a second one…maybe I should start adding a few “lighter” books to my list…
05. One book that made you cry
Reinventing the Family: Lesbian and Gay Parents by Dr. Laura Benkov
06. One book that you wish had been written
Self-Acceptance and Self-Esteem for Dummies
07. One book that you wish had never been written
The Bible (Sorry for the low blow – but I think it’s done more harm than good. I hope my Christian friends can forgive me…)
08. Two books you’re currently reading
The Triumph of the Moon – A History of Modern Pagan Witchcraft by Dr. Ronald Hutton
Gods and Myths of Northern Europe by Dr. H.R. Ellis Davidson
09. One book you’ve been meaning to read
(Again, hard to list just one…)
In Whom We Live and Move and Have Our Being: Panentheistic Reflections on God’s Presence in a Scientific World by Drs. Philip Clayton and Arthur Peacocke.
Spirit and Resistance by Dr. George E. Tinker
Beyond Fear: A Toltec Guide to Freedom and Joy by Don Miguel Ruiz
10. Now tag five (or so) people: Terri G, Yvonne, Samantha, John, Aletheia, and Lainie.

My daughter has read the Autobiography of a Yogi and calls it amazing, another that she has read more than once that you might be interested in is A Tantric Quest. Here’s my list.
One book that changed my life – The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra – it was hard to find one book that changed my life but this one reconciled spirituality with science – I liked that.
One book I’ve read more than once – Little Women by Louisa May Alcott – my mother read this book to me when I was 7 over a series of nights before bedtime, I can’t count how many times I’ve read it since.
One book I would want on a desert island – The Lord of the Ring trilogy by Tolkien.
Two books that made me laugh – The Know It All – One Man’s Quest to become the Smartest Person in the World by A. J. Jacobs and Naked Came the Manatee by Carl Hiaasen, Dave Barry and others.
One book that I wished had never been written – The Koran, according to Sam Harris in the End of Faith, the book encourages the reader to kill infidels.
One book that made me cry: When Rabbit Howls by Truddi Chase
One book that I wish had been written – How to live with adult children without acting like a parent.
Two books I am currently reading – How to Want What You Have by Timothy Miller, Ph.D and Labyrinth by Kate Mosse
One book I’ve been meaning to read – there is a difference between meaning to read and wanting to read, one I want to read is The Savage Garden by Mark Mills. However, I should be reading great literature like Shakespeare but never get around to it.
I just recently landed a job at SOU and my daughter said it was a good thing because the way I read I would go through the public library before too much longer. Of course, this is an exaggeration but the thought of having access to the university library does thrill me.
Oops, didn’t see your tag until today. I shall put up my post when I get home from work this evening.
Terri,
Thanks so much for sharing your list. I’m adding the book by Timothy Miller to the list of those I’d like to read…
No worries Kay! I intended to send out an e-mail inviting you to participate, but didn’t get to it.
I’m looking forward to seeing your list.
