Under a Violet Sun began a little more than a year ago. In the first several months I was excited to see 30 visitors a week. Now with around 100 of you making your way here daily, the site’s total hits are approaching 20,000! Thanks to you, the site is also frequently ranked in the top 100 religious blogs on Blogflux, and this week is number 47!
In the beginning I often wondered if the things I chose to write about were of value to anyone else, or if they were simply self-indulgent monologues. Thank you for reaffirming the former, even if the latter is occasionally the case.

Thank you for such an interesting mix of blog topics and for your comment on mine. It’s been a while, and I’m sorry I haven’t responded before now. I’ve been going through a series of shifts, which I’m now ready to write about and assimiliate and contemplate more fully. It’s nice to read about someone else on a similarly diverse path, someone who’s open to Paganism, Metaphysics, intentional living, and other complementary areas of spiritual growth. Happy (belated) Anniversary, and many more!
