I started this blog to visually chronicle my spiritual journey with the hope that my questions, the answers I find, my successes and setbacks will be useful to others searching for meaning beyond mass belief and convention. Here you’ll find musings on alternative spirituality, the traditions of various indigenous groups, western herbal medicine (phytotherapy), and politics. I’m an introspective 30-something gay man living in the Seattle, Washington area who most would describe as a caring individualist with a penchant for defiance.
Over the last 20 years I’ve explored many religions and ways of being. At times I’ve described myself as Christian, Atheist, Agnostic, Panenthiest, Neo-Pagan, Wiccan, or Witch. Though elements of each remain with me, I’ve tossed aside the associated labels due to the eventual discovery of something (or many things) that didn’t work for me. One constant throughout this quest has been my use of the Elder Futhark Runes for myself and others. (Click here for more info.) Much on these topics can also be found here.
